Ambuyat
A truly unique food from Brunei, Ambuyat is made with sago palm. It is a starchy bland substance, similar to tapioca starch. Ambuyat is eaten by rolling it like spaghetti with a bamboo fork called a Chandas and then dipping it into other various sauces or other dishes. The dish is similar to the food from eastern Indonesia called Papeda.
